Empire Finance in Lebanon, MO has an employee that encouraged and gave 2 separate loans to two severely mentally disabled people who are both on very limited income. When they were late on payment this Amanda Lewis threatened to have (in her words on recording) the shit beat out of them if they did not pay- she made this threat in the Lebanon office. Again, this recording was made in the Lebanon office. When our office contacted Amanda Lewis on 4-2-14 the same woman on the recording- she denied her violent threats toward either of these two handicapped people. To think how many handicapped people this woman has treated physical harm to and those people did not get to record her. Our society neglects these type of individuals enough without them being taken advantage of and then threatened with physical harm when anyone would know these two could not pay this loan back. Amanda Lewis is representing Empire Finance, therefore the crime committed and the scrutiny here lies with both.
