I am currently in an attempt to close out two accounts. Despite informing the teller I wanted the account closed on the 24th, and follwoing up with the branch manager on the 28th the account is still not closed. To add insult to injury here the teller transferred the money out of the account like I asked but didn't close it. The credit union is now showing a negative $10 balance because it wasn't closed proerly. I have left 3 messages with the branch manager which none have been returned. If I wanted a big bank that didn't listen or respond I would have gone with Bank of America. UPDATE: Be it by destiny or design within 60 minutes of making this post my issue was resolved and I recieved a call from the branch indicating the resolution. Thank you to all of you who made this happen.

I am pretty happy with this Credit Union. They always make me feel welcome and have given me a couple of Misc loans through out the years and even when my credit wasn't that great they did that for me and got me back on my feet. The staff is very friendly and you get that home town/small town feel and that's nice. Its easy to bank here because they have longer hours than a regular bank and less waiting time for checks to clear. If you need a bank account, go with a credit union they are different than banks. But this is my fav credit union. :)
