During week home on vacation, I went to deposit money from an account outside of First Community and when I wanted to use my debit card to purchase an extra night at the hotel, it was declined. Fast forward 4 days to when I checked my account online, there was only 300. In the account history, there had been a -96 balance that was pulled out of the 400. I previously had overdraft fees refunded, but the staff at the branch couldn't help me because MY ACCOUNT HAD BEEN CLOSED! Asked why I hadn't been contacted and being that I had recently moved, all my mail has been forwarded to the new address and will be for the next 3 months. My phone number is on file so if the letters were returned to sender, they would still have a way to contact me. I have been receiving my account statements since the day I had my mail forwarded. I have since fixed my paypal settings and withdrawn my remaining cash from First Community.

Worse banking experience I have ever had. After pulling credit and checking income I was approved for refinancing an existing loan. The loan officer, Julia, must have been new, because she kept making mistakes and would leave the office to ask other people what to do. I went to first community 5 separate times to get this loan done because she would leave me alone for long periods of time. One time she didn't know how to get the loan number for my existing loan, so she gave me the phone number to my existing lender and left. I called them and after several minutes spoke with someone and got all the information. I sat and waited for her to return. Finally another loan officer came and told me she was still working on it. I told her I already called and got the information and she could come back and do the loan. After waiting another ten minutes she never returned. I finally left. Next business day they called and denied me! How can I be denied for a loan I already have? Five wasted trips! This isn't my first bad experience, they also lost a credit card but I thought I would give them a second chance. No more. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. I'm moving my money to another credit union.

I have been banking here for 4 years and in that time it has been great, unlimited transfers between my accounts, decent customer service and alot of local branches. HOWEVER, their new automated service line is HORRIBLE. I tried to transfer funds between my account and another members account and it was like pulling teeth. I had to hangup 4-5 times just to get to where I wanted to be AND they made me change my pin number that I now cannot remember for the life of me and was denied at my ATM several times and could not remember why until I called. Great bank, horrible phone line.

This is the worst (Bank) not credit union I've ever dealt with period, they will find a way to charge for any little thing and they don't have any programs that benefit the members in tough times, I had 500 in my account and came in with a work check that was 700, they would not cash it because i didnt have 700 in the bank smh, I went right down to Walmart and cashed it with no problem. Its just always a problem whenever i have to deal with them. I once made a auto loan payment of 500 and 99 went to the principle and one of the supervisors even said it didn't make sense and called the head office only for them to come up with some BS story why which me or the supervisor didn't understand, I hate first Community with a passion, I could say more but I would be typing all day

****DO NOT GET YOUR AUTO LOAN THROUGH THEM*****Although I'm very appreciative I received a decent interest rate at the time of establishing my loan, I am not happy or satisfied with the lack of programs and services. We are a new military family and we're now on a very tight fixed income. I've had my auto loan with FCCU for a year and a half and never paid late, I've actually made a few payments before due date. I will be actively seeking to refinance my vehicle with a better lender, this is ridiculous! The auto loans department lacks good customer service, they're very prejudice, biased, rude and unprofessional.
