Horrible customer service and high interest rates. I'm pretty sure they don't know how to run a company!!! Nobody never knows what the other person says or does... One person can tell you one thing and then you'll get a totally different answer the next time say what pricing for a final payment. I will never ever get along with these guys ever again!!!!!

I've never personally had a loan with SAL, but I have worked with them for some time. They give chances to people who really shouldn't be given chances to finance vehicles. People who have had multiple repossessions, never paid anyone, yet they find a way to get them cars. Interest is high, but that is the customers fault for not taking care of their business. If anything they should appreciate SAL for giving then a second, third even forth chance...sucks when people don't responsibility for their poor decision making and bad credit!

Glad they do give "credit issue" loans, however, they do not understand much about life when things go wrong, they are horrible at communicating. Making a payment is a chore and a half. Their hours are completely unreasonable for someone who works full time, their online payment system is not easy to do a simple thing like autopay.

Love SAL, I'm financing a truck thru them now. 15 or 16 months in and I don't really have any complaints. Even after I've been 14 days late on my payment they continue to call and work out other payment options. My credit was no where near good & they still wanted to work with me. I appreciate the patience, professionalism, and always being there if I have and any questions!!

No stars. The customer service is terrible. Hans and I came to a settlement agreement, but I was at work and told him I would call him back later to pay it. He gave me his direct extension, but he had left for the day already. Thereafter, everytime I call to pay the agreed upon settlement, Hans is not there and each representative that i speak to pulls a different settlement amount from thin air. Apparently there was no record of a previously agreed upon settlement amount according to each different representative. Conveniently the amount was raised with every phone call. I was unable to ever get through to Hans. I think they're scam artists. I finally manage to get a hold of him and he has no recollection of our initial agreement. In fact, initially he said that they no longer had my account records, even though they did two and a half weeks ago. He gave me the phone number and supposed new account number for the law office that took over my account. I called them and was informed that this account has been closed for 3 years. ??? What???Called Hans back. All of a sudden they have my account pulled up, but there happens to be no record of our agreement on file AGAIN. Convenient. Now he wants more than twice as much. Really?? Really. This was for a vehicle that died on me after 3 weeks of driving it, twelve years ago. The buy here, pay here place was no longer same name or management by that time. The salesman's writing on the original contract was illegible. So what does one do? GIVE A BAD REVIEW. I do NOT recommend taking a loan through this company and will never, ever again go buy here pay here.
