Northland Group, Inc. in Edina, MN

i just received a letter from these people saying that they are attempting to collect $37.00. for an over due bill. i called to get information regarding the letter they sent me. instead a really rude lady answered the phone asking me for my personal information. i always pay my bills on time. i know that these is a scam. can anyone advise on what to do with these people?

Got a letter about owing money to TD Bank. I reviewed my credit statement no mention of this and also I don't have TD bank. SCAM. be aware.

I have spotless credit and just received a letter from this company stating that I owed a bank I've never heard of over $5000.00 and that they would accept payments of $357.00 a month over 9 months to collect the debt...the money they are asking for doesn't even equal the debt I supposedly owe. Good thing I looked them up before paying anything.

Just got letter from them saying I owed TD bank, yeah ok I have an account with TD bank never had a problem with them and never had an over draft. Its a scam.. BEWARE

They called me stating they were from Chase bank. I've never had an account with Chase, so I called the number back and discovered it was Northland Group. They asked for the last four of my social security number, and when I asked to speak with a manager they were conveniently "in a meeting." Checking my credit report frequently for the next few months, and I would suggest everyone else does the same if your contacted by them.
