My experience with Ken and First Commerce was, in a word, awesome. He's super knowledgeable, CALM, patient and totally prepared for all of the crazy I sent his way. I almost went with Quicken Loans for my loan, in fact I was ready to hit send on an email to lock in with them when the rates raised and they showed their true cards. Quicken's response to the rate hike was - you MUST lock in now, you just lost a ton of money! They were pushy and clearly frustrated with my indecision even though it was only a day or two. Ken's response was measured and calm. He told me not to panic and wait, he advised that I could to see if the rates lowered again. I really appreciated his council and that there was no pressure. And guess what? The rates lowered after a week and I was able to lock in for less than originally planned! Ken's numbers were always right and he truly knows how to handle a first time home buyer's inexperience, annoying questions and (at times) downright panic. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
