Alliance Catholic Credit Union in Troy, MI

This is the friendliest place ever! I am not a member there, but it is convenient to my work and as part of credit union network, I am able to do my banking there. I've never seen them be short with anyone, spend time answering all sorts of questions, and always a welcoming smile !

My experience have been positive, unlike some of below reviews. I have not borrowed any money yet but customer service n their cost effective fees is what sold me. I have been with this bank for few months and I have not complains. I have experience bad customer n high fees else where hence I came to this bank.

The inside cashiers/ clerks are always great. Drive thru doesn't even give a pen and only two slips in the box. Once had to speak to somrone in office for an instant issue debit and she was HORRIFICLY rude to me then the card didn't work at all over holiday weekend. Came back today and once I was able to be seen I realized I'd left my debit in my card. I ran out to grab it and once I came back she grabbed someone else again to help. Mixed girl works in last office, avoid at all costs. Going to Rochester now hoping for better luck.

They are literally 10 years behind every other credit union in terms of technology and online banking. Their online website is clunky as well as their iPhone and Android banking app. I have had awful experiences with their customer support service over the phone as well. Despite their in store customer service being decent, their online banking is just too big of an issue to make me want to stay. All young members will leave by the time they are 20 due to their lack of technological advancements. I haven't left yet, but when I do, Genisys Credit Union will be my clear preferred choice. They offer all the same services and rates as Alliance but with much better online and Smartphone banking options.

10+ years and have always had good luck. I often deal with them over the phone. Top notch! never any issues.
