Credit Union ONE in Saint Clair Shores, MI

We have been members with Credit Union One since 1981. We recently accumulated NSF charges, $30.00 fee for a $3.00 charge. We never received a email from Credit Union One which we have in the past. Saturday, 5 days later we receive a letter stating we have NSF for 3 charges. Upon my husband and I reviewing our bank statement the NSF charges were $900.00. Both my husband and I went to speak to the "Manager" at the Credit Union, a Ms. Terry Doehring regarding being charged $900.00 for the past 3 days! Ms. Doehring was so flipping RUDE and spoke so loud against us that the entire bank and those in the bank could hear everything being said. I asked if she could lower her voice as I did not feel our business was the business to everyone in the bank and she replied she needed to turn up her hearing aids. I thought hearing aids were to hear not to yell someone else's business for all to hear. Even after "fixing" her hearing aids she continued to speak so loudly the people outside could probably hear her. I told her she was so rude I wanted her supervisors name and number. I of course was unable to reach her supervisor. If Credit Union One insists on us paying $900.00 for debit charges less than $20.00 I will certainly be putting my Chrysler check and my Nursing check in another Credit Union. I have never experienced such a humiliating experience in my life and I do not understand how Credit Union One would hire such people, as Managers, as Ms. Doehring. I would advise anyone considering opening any kind of an account with Credit Union One to just drive a few miles either way and you will find several other financial institutions from Credit Unions or Banks based on your preference. Again, please save yourself from any embarrassment and deal with a different financial institution. Believe me you will sleep better at night!!

Everyone is very helpful and polite never had a bad experience there! Keep up the good work. All the times I have gone there I have had great experience. I have been going there since they opened.

This bank is horrible. I hate that my credit union merged with them. They have horrible customer service. And they dont disclose things about your account that you should know until you have overdrafted

I have been a member of this Credit Union for only a few years but have found them to be extremely helpful in any situations I have encountered. The staff is always very friendly and willing to answer any questions I might have. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a good Credit Union.
