We had the same experience as Orlando Escribano. Our insurance somehow was messed up and in turn FGCU charged us their insurance which ended up costing us $4,000. Additionally, they have fees for every thing, including $5/month because the husband and I seperated and while he's still at our original address, I am not. So, I'm sure once I update my address, then my insurance company will take issue because of my new location. Anything to get money.

had a clerical issue regarding insurance where apparently we had none. instead of sending a letter to fix the problem. they applied their own insurance without notice and then months later send a tow truck to repossess our truck for non insurance. we quickly insured the truck right away after finding out where the error was, which cost us $730 and faxed it. then they asked to modify our payment adding $147/Mo to make up the money they paid for when they applied their insurance. then they sent the tow company anyway and demanded we pay the entire amount of $780 for what they paid the insurance for. took us an hour but we did find the $780. when we called to ask where we can get our truck back they said in order to get it out of tow we need $1200 now and they wanted next month's car payment of $333 also. so because of a clerical error the total cost for us to keep our truck(which has never had a late payment) $2263. Update: they want $1250 CASH on top of modifying payment from $333/mo to $438/mo for 3 years and pay the tow companies Hook up fee Cash. so after the three years a total cost of 6k over a non insurance issue.

First I would like to thank them for helping me purchase my first vehicle. Other then that there customer service is horrible. Every time I call I get sent to voice mail. You have to leave a voicemail to get a call back. I am not a fan. I have other things to do then wait for someone to call me back and when they do call back I'm busy. So it's constant phone tag. I'm not sure how there in store service but trying to do something over the phone is impossible. All I needed was a lien of release for my vehicle sent through email because I leave in Montana now. It took over a week to do and about 20 phone calls. I will never go back and recommend this to no one.
