Community Choice Credit Union in Holland, MI

I've been with this bank since I was able to work at the age 16. Now 42 i've seen the diffrent name changes it has gone through and still was a member. Since becoming Community Choice I've decided to cut ties with this bank. I was charged $150 in overdraft fees because my checkings was at a Zero balance. My savings had enough to cover whatever was being pulled from my checkings. Also which i wasn't aware of your allowed a certain amount of transfers for the month, I also tried to transfer money but wouldn't allow me because i had exceeded the amount so i get charged for overdraft fees. I call and spoke with Shar and all she could do was fix $60 of it, she explained to me that i had gone over my transfer limit and that is why i wasn't able to transfer money over. I explained to her that i couldn't afford these charges and i was never aware of the transfer limit. What ends up happening is I pay all my bills thru my mobile phone, I'm sure there are many that do the same. This is what broke the camels back for me. After letting her know how long ive been banking with this bank and being thru all their changes her response was "Can I help you with anything else Sir" REALLY!!

Tellers are awesome at this branch. always friendly and efficient. Kristi is always willing to go the extra mile for me. Keep up the good work.!!!

Over the years it has steadily declined. Slow outdated and customer service is awful. It's not specificly this branch but as a credit union as a whole.

I have been with Community Choice Credit union for 29 or more years and through all the changes I still feel they are the best to work with compared to the local banks. All the tellers and agents have always been so helpful to us. Recently Kristi DeHaan was so helpful in getting us set up with a fantastic rate on a loan. I will always go here for my loans.
