I had the worst experience ever at this place. I had coins and flatware thay i possibly wanted to sell. So i search the web and found check n gold. The store clerk chad asked me to come down to the store ,so i did to check out my coins. Chad then gave me a price for the coins and before i sold them i wanted to get information on the coins before i sold them. He was very impatient and then rushed me to try to sell. I told him ill think about it and come back. I call later and he picks up the phone and explained who i was. He then replied yeah i know who yoh are, i qouted you early about a price and you didnt take it and i dont want to talk to you and quite frankly i dont like you. I asked myself where did this come from. I reported him and his coworker justin to the better business bureau. I felt disrespected and discriminated against. I also have some of the conversation recorded. Horrible customer

I visited the Woodward location that just opened recently. Very professional and friendly, walked me through the whole process. I had know idea that such a small amount of gold could be worth that much. I actually went home and got my husband's gold. I don't normally write reviews but I felt compelled too after all the help and MONEY they gave us. Thanks again

Just got off the phone with them, apparently they dont give fair market value for an actual minted and certified troy oz of Australian Gold. I guess if you're looking to get less money than what the gold is actually worth, it would be a good idea, but gold is gold and its worth what its worth. Go somewhere that will give you the dollar its worth. Gold values go up and down, that's why you sell it for what its worth. Not less.
