Belle River Community Credit Union in Casco, MI

Pros: Most of the employees are friendly. Not a busy location. Cons: ATM is always out of order. They charge $1 to withdraw money from their own ATM. They charge for checking and savings accounts.

I have been a loyal customer for years and have enjoyed a wonderful relationship with the staff at "OUR" Credit Union. They go out of their way to exceed my expectations in every way, every time I step in to the Lobby. I personally like the fact that when they get to know you they (staff) treat you like your part of their family. On several occasions I have have a chance to use their Personal Loans temporarily and it takes only 5 minutes. The money is there ready for you to use immediately. I opened a savings account almost two years ago. I put the $200 minimum in and had not touched the account until today. Apparently they have a unused account fee so after 1 year of not touching the account they started to make deductions. This led my balance to drop below the $200 minimum and then they started charging a fee for that too - so when I went to check on my account today that $200 is now $100.07. Thanks for looking after your customers belle.

I think their online banking really stinks. I constantly get locked out of my account even though I log in correctly. They have no real tech support that I know of. People do not follow through and call you back. I have been there for a few months and intend to leave.
