Golden Tree Jewelry & Loan in Bay City, MI

I stopped in there looking for an affordable air conditioner & Every major store in Bay City and Saginaw had sold out or only had some for $500 & $600. I bought a 8000 BTU window unit with digital display and remote control for $150 and it WORKS GREAT!!! It cools my whole apartment easily and I was just hoping for one room because we have spacious rooms and tall ceilings. The staff at Golden Tree were very professional, nice and helpful and the heat that day was UNBEARABLE! They even loaded the unit in my car for me! Since then I have been back and put a couple things in lay-away and each visit is filled with friendly staff people and they know a lot about the stuff they sell! EXCELLENT - in every aspect AND no long lines to wait in.

We were greeted and treated by the staff professionally. Been there a few times and always left with a smile. Great place to go.

I didn't like anything about it today 12/8/15 I took an car amp (500 watt) nothing to big in there they said they would give me 20$ for it if it worked properly then they hooked it up wrong (red)light they said it was straight junk I told them I just had it hook up in my car and and to try it again maybe you hooked it up work they told me "they hook up amps everyday" then they said they wouldn't even consider it but I just upgraded my amp to a (1000 watt) Sony so I knew it worked so i called bay city discount they tested it for me light right up (green) the people who run the store golden tree jewelry & loan on wilder RD are lo life's scum bags don't go to this pawn shop it's the biggest joke I never seen more unprofessional,full of them self's employees in my life. you want a good pawn shop go to bay city discount . There always willing to lend a hand

This place is good because I seen a nice hp laptop and put it on layaway and I was late on damn near every payment. At one point I didn't pay for like five or six weeks they put the laptop back on the floor but when I went in and explained my reasoning for not being there they were more than happy to let it go and allow me to keep the laptop. After that I was late on more payments LOL and I still bought the laptop. So they're very flexible to say the least

I went in earlier today just checking out some guitars. I came across a nice sunburst Michigan made electric and was shortly greeted by one of the workers. After looking over the guitar and noticing minor nicks, chips and not to mention the missing G, B and high E strings, he was willing to lower the asking price to about $20 less. Once I had gotten home I took off the remaining 3 strings, cleaned and polished the guitar top to bottom and re-strung it using some standard Slinky nickel wound strings and proceeded to test it out on my amp. I can say that out of all my guitars, this one is by far the best and almost the cheapest purchased (at $137). I'm completley pleased with the quality and help I've gotten from this pawn shop. The only thing that I can say I wasn't satisfied with was the vibe I had gotten from the workers, almost passing me off as just another guy spending some tax return money. But overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and will gladly be returning for more used gear!
