Marshall Community Credit Union in Battle Creek, MI

Just doing a little public service announcement regarding Marshall Community Credit Union. I had an account there that I never use that was apparently tied to my PayPal account. When I made a $35 purchase online they went to remove money from the account and there was not any money in there. Rather than just refusing the transaction and calling it a day they proceeded to try to resubmit the transaction 10 more times over the course of a little over a week running up $290 in insufficient funds fees. Even though they did not pay the transaction amount apparently they still can justify charging me $29 every time they made the attempt to. They were unwilling to negotiate or even modify slightly the amount of fees. There was no service provided for these fees, ithe funds were not paid. These transactions were attempted daily for over a week and no one from Marshall tried to contact me as my account kept going further and further into the negative. These are deceptive and despicable business practices and I have no time or interest in doing business with such a despicable organization. I highly recommend Huntington Bank to anyone looking for a more honest and reasonable company to work with
