Well I filled out the application. At least I think because I had a confirmation number. And then they wanted me to pay for a credit report. If I didn't know what my score was I wouldn't need your help. Makes me not want to do business with this company.

I have been talking with a really nice salesman, a few actually and sales ladies ;) at a dealership in Antioch, IL. I received a call and I was told that on behalf of Auto Credit Express that my auto loan had been accepted and that they had several pre-approvals in place. I was told I need to bring in my drivers license, utility bill and 2 recent check stubs and everything was set to go. I got there and it was such a scam. They want so much more and they range this that and that and this more money more paperwork etc.. Waste of time!!

My experience with the dealership was amazing but when it comes to financing with this company that is where you run into many problem. I filled out the online credit application with auto credit express and was told that I was preapproved for a new car loan. When I get to the dealership I test drove three vehicles that are all under $20,000 and have really good incentives currently going on. I have the dealership appraise my current open auto loan and also have them apply the current incentive towards some negative equity on my current auto to for the training to make it more appealing to the bank. Showing my current open auto as a trade-in the bank sends the information for the new car off to auto credit express and the application is immediately denied do to my credit score. For a sub prime lender who specializes in auto loans for people with bad credit I find it kind of hypocritical that they deny somebody for bad credit. If you're looking for a sub prime lender then look at your local federal credit union for at a different bank because this one will not work with you and lies on their advertisements. I have meet all their requirements stated on their website and then some but was still denied.
