I dunno what this moron Frank is talking about. He probably is a scumbag who tried to sell them something stolen or useless. Because they gave me top dollar for my laptop on more than one occasion and are very nice and polite. As opposed to say the pawn shops in Waterville who are both owned by gigantic scumbags who love ripping people off. Augusta Pawn is definitely in the top 3 best places to do business with for loans, etc. Also, its one of the only places left besides kmart who has a layaway program. and their prices on used items are incredibly fair. this frank guy is probably a crackhead.

The guys sometimes might seem curt or tough but they really arent. They are actually very nice and more than fair. They have gone out of their way to be helpful on more than one occasion. I have used a different pawn shop and couldnt help comparing, the other shop was a misersble place with rude people who couldnt care less. The guys at augusta pawn are the best around and will treat you fairly.

Outstanding staff,knowledgeable of merchandise,great prices,easy going friendly environment. More friendly then the other downtown pawn shops upon entering,got a more then fair deal on a flat screen and xbox360,,which were easy to set up and worked perfectly when I got home,last month.They even went the extra mile to make sure I had the correct remote.Love brousing their extensive movie collection on rainy days.
