Fantastic credit union!

Horrible phone customer service.

I was with UMEFCU @ solo cup til they closed in 2011..been a member since 2001..purchased 2 brand new cars with them Roxy the CEO of the credit union went with me to purchase both vehicles...paid both cars off,never late..Roxy can vouch for that ..as I was trying to purchase a 3rd vehicle using Destinations for an auto loan...they turned me down..i was only trying to borrow about 6k...but i have over 7k in my savings account in Destinations..no i dont particularly care for this credit union.i was much happier when it was @ Solo as UMEFCU..but Wells Fargo gave me an auto loan with a great rate...so much for us members being owners..go figure..Robin is wonderful..

How does an institution "owned" by it's account holders put the screws to it's patrons? The "old outdated" banking computer was able withdrawal and apply mortgage payments on a weekly basis. This added up to thousands of dollars in savings through the course of the loan. Now we are told the "latest and greatest" technology cannot perform that function.I find that very hard to believe. I was told by Miss Palmer that it is a simple matter of the Credit Union not willing to offer that service, anymore. The service that saved members thousands of dollars on a mortgage. I urge others to complain. I personally am going to take advantage of another Credit Union. MOVE YOUR MORTGAGES ELSEWHERE!
