Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union in Gaithersburg, MD

This bank is crooked and backs up the crooks that work for them. I have an account in another credit union union that does shared banking with Mid-Atlantic. Someone deposited a payroll check for me and $2100 cash in the ATM. The teller(s) stole the money, then the check disappeared. It wasn't cashed, and the deposit came up "envelope empty". After reviewing the ATM camera and clearly seeing that money was put in the envelope the manager said he would investigate only to come back and say "my tellers said they didn't take any money". He clearly saw the video that the envelope was NOT empty! Do not trust these people, they are liars and crooks!!!

The staff are friendly and efficient. I love banking here!

They suck!!!!!!!! You're unable to cash a check written to you from a member unless you're a member. That is ridiculous!

I went to the gaithersburg branch and applied for auto loan, Loan officer told me we'll call you and let you by tomorrow. after 7 days, 3-4 times phone call and left 3 times phone messages, nobody called me. they don't care about customer. When you ask them to transfer your call to manager they transfer your phone call somewhere else. Looking weird to me. Last time i got pre-approval from another bank within 4 hours.

It took the branch manager 4 times to fill out wire transfer paperwork correctly. One banker and two tellers working on a Saturday. Waited a half hour.
