Can't believe I have to pay to cash a check!

This is the worst bank, possibly ever. You would think banks have money, right? Not this one... any other bank in the country, you can walk in, exchange currency, and walk out. At this establishment, you have to be Citizen customer to partake in any banking services like simple currency exchange! The management is competent, the employees are rude, and my experience at this branch has eliminated Citizen's from my banking future.

My experience for the past 12 years has been very positive. The staff has always been polite, patient and extremely helpful.

They flat out suck. Thieves

The total of $500 was missing from my account in the time period of 2 month. They called it an "encoding error". The "error" would cost me $500 if I did not notice, leaves me wondering how many more "errors" were made during the past 10 years, since I become a customer. However, the missing money were not the worst part. When I called customer service the gentleman advised me to call the branch, and I did, and this is when all started. Sabrina, the manager, looked at my account and immediately denied that checks were deposited at her branch, instead she said I made a deposit at the ATM in another city. She went on telling me that I made a mistake, and should watch the amount when depositing. I guess it is true when they say "attack is the best defense". I never deposit checks via ATM so, I asked her to double check and she admitted that the deposits were made at her branch. We scheduled an appointment for me to come in person. I came in at a scheduled time but the manager was not there. I guess it did not matter to her, never mind I had to take a half day off work. The assistant manager, Leanne, just could not be more rude, incompetent and unprofessional. I am not sure how Citizens Bank does the hiring, but it seems to me that the rudeness, incompetence and unprofessionalism are the top requirements for the management position. The provoking , rude behavior of the assistant manager escalated situation to an ugly conflict. I would advise all and everyone - take your money elsewhere, maybe the place where your business is appreciated, and people know what "customer service" actually means - after all, we let them use our money for free, and they are in business because of us...
