I brought in my watch about a month or two ago to their store when it was located in Wollaston Center to have the battery replaced. The battery is now not working. Don't I feel like a jerk. After writing the prior review, common sense prevailed. I mailed the watch into Matthew's. Turns out the problem was not the battery but the watch. The jeweler's reply follows. He went far beyond what was necessary. I cannot sing the praises of this business high enough. His response: I tested the 2025 battery; it is fully charged. Secondly, set the time, date, day, & second hand within 30 seconds of accuracy. Thirdly, a complimentary battery for your peace of mind; in its original packaging. Fourthly, a check for $15.95. Finally, if the problem continues where the "watch" does not keep time; I would recommend investing in a new Timex; the cost to replace the movement or the "engine" of the watch is not beneficial, unless its sentimental or your preference. Went there about 8 months ago to sell a gold shell ring I had from when I was teenager. I was very suprised and pleased with the value I got for it. I sent my cousin there the same week and she was just as pleased. The young handsome man was very nice and informative. Thanks alot

traveled 1600 miles to go see the store pawn stars hit tv series is filmed in also to buy items for friends back home. Arriving at store at 8:15 in morning and realizing store didn't open till 9am I walked around looking at area. Went in alley way and seen the sliding back gate ajar I took my phone camera out and took picture of beer cans and Christmas tree. Someone came out of a truck and run me off. There was no filming going on. I was told to leave the property and was not allowed in store. Seemed like no one cared. Mercy im almost 60 years old and wasn't causing any harm. My treatment was uncalled for. I said I was sorry and didn't know. This happened 11-12-2013

The idiot that runs this business, is rude and obnoxious. Stay away. Do business ANYWHERE else but here. This owner has continued to harass me long after we were done business. check with the police before you buy! Yelp labeled this company for paying for reviews google it BEWARE! FAKE REVIEWS I HADBAD EXPERIENCE HERE.
