Freedom Credit Union in Northampton, MA

I had the absolute worst experience with this credit union and would not recommend using them the slightest. The people at this branch were rude, misinforming, and INCREDIBLY slow in answering any questions. I put an application for a small personal loan on the 27th of one month, and did not get a real answer until the 26th of the NEXT MONTH. It took them a whole month to just deny my application, time which I could have spent figuring something else out. The person who I dealt with was named LEE from the Northampton branch and she was the ultimate worst. She would always say she would call me back and never would. Then would act annoyed when I would take the initiative to keep calling back. She claims she tried to call me but that my voicemail was full, this was total bullshit and I could smell it from a mile away. My phone company said that my voicemail has never been close to full!!! In conclusion, these people made me jump through hoops and overcome obstacles trying to get the very small loan, making me wait for a whole month and in the end just said no. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE A total waste of time and the people were just the worst. I recommend you taking your money elsewhere.
