Art Carl Jewelers & AC Loan in Malden, MA

I was boda borging and had some time to kill, I popped into this awesome little shop next store. The toys in the window attracted me, and I was able to find an awesome gift for my husband and my father who are really hard to shop for. Boris, the owner, helped me pick out some unique star wars and avengers toys and collectibles. He gave me a fair price and great service. The shop also had a huge selection of musical instruments and really unique items you don't see every where. If you're looking for a shop unlike most, you have to check them out, I would highly recommend!

I went to Art Carl's in need of a repair of a cherished family heirloom - a gold chain handed down from my grandmother that had not left my neck for over 20 years until the day it was broken. Needless to say, I was concerned that the repair would be done right and would ensure that I could continue wearing the chain for the next 20 years and far beyond. Boris -- the nice guy working the counter who informed me that this was family business he runs with his dad -- assured me that the chain would be repaired and that if any issues arose either during said repairs or regarding my concern with continued use of the chain after the repair he would let me know. Well.....I got the chain back just the other day and it's stronger and shinier than ever! And all my questions and concerns were answered to my satisfaction. I strongly recommend this shop and will be back for jewelry repairs or for other needs (apparently they're a full retail store AND pawn shop!) in the future. Thanks Boris (and dad)!

These are the finest folks in the industry!! I had never used the services of a "loan" store before. I was nervous and concerned that I would be taken advantage of. The experience here was totally the opposite. They were so kind and took the time to make sure that the prices were fair. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I've been back several times and always a class act.

This shop is so nice, great atmosphere, great people. Very educated, informing, they'll do every thing an inform you of what's going on step by step, right Infront of you.. always a pleasant experience! If you're looking too sell or get a loan somewhere,please go there! You won't regret it! Such great kind people!

Very rude and unprofessional people. They offer way less than pawn shop value. I called ahead of coming in and they hung up on me. Items in store look like trash. They must keep the good stuff for themselves. Guess they only want to do business with drug addicts. Don't know class when they see it. If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. STAY AWAY.
