My new experience with DCU has not been a good one! The main complaint is that they assign you a DIFFERENT MEMBER NUMBER...AND...PIN NUMBER for EVERY single account you have and you CANNOT CHOOSE YOUR OWN PIN NUMBER OF YOUR CHOICE, ONE YOU ARE MORE LIKELY TO REMEMBER. So for example, if you have a personal checking and a business checking, you will get 2 different member numbers and 2 different pin numbers to remember. Just plain Confusion & Frustration...TOO MANY NUMBERS TO REMEMBER and an inefficient way to cater to the customer and over-compensate for Security!

My husband and I have been members of DCU for over 15 years, and are happy customers. We just opened a business checking account, and I'm happy to have a separate account and pin number (in response to Diane's comment) for security reasons, and to keep our business and personal financial matters separate. Several years ago, our TD Bank checking account was compromised by someone who'd obtained our card #. We were able to quickly close the account and dispute the charges, but it was a very frightening incident. I believe that the minor inconvenience of having to remember more than one pin is worth the added security of having a separate business account. I especially enjoy the great convenience of their PC banking - I can scan a check in at home and deposit it without leaving the house.

I get money so I don't complain

A decent local bank. I have used them for 12 years.

Staff is wonderful... Still sad that my company does direct deposit. They always make the visit enjoyable
