I had a really mixed experience with Athol Credit Union. I used them to finance my car with a low interest rate. But it seemed to have come at a cost. When my car was paid off my auto-deposit was left on for a few months and Athol received $1000 extra from me. I've spent over two months trying to get the money back and still haven't made any progress. They've been rude on the phone and even "misspoke" about when and where the money went. When I was one week late on a payment two years into my payments, they were quick to lower my credit score. Too bad that system only works one way. —Andrew
