Stephanie Weeks is the best in the business. She really makes dreams come true. She has helped me numerous times. I would only recommend her for an type of real estate transaction. Check her out!

Aside from Stephanie's assistance, the rest of the entire company is responsible for THEE WORST experience I have EVER had with a company! EVER! These people are the most incompetent, delusional, inconsiderate, ignorant, rude, arrogant people I've ever had the displeasure of working with...and worst of all, it was during my first time buying a house!!! It started with a talk with Stephanie about the process, as well as an email requesting what information they would need to start the process. Two mornings later, at 8:27 a.m., all of our documents had been received with a thank you and a smile from one of their employees. That afternoon I called to ask a few questions regarding the timing of the process, and to ask what to expect with VA rates, APPROXIMATE costs, closing times, etc. "I cannot tell you that." "Rates change daily between 3 and 6 percent." "We will know more when we run every scenario." "We'll get back with you no later than tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon, Friday the latest." Thursday: Called to get an update... "I will definitely call you with answers first thing in the morning!" Friday morning: Received an email stating that all required information was not sent in so they could not give me anything until my license, employment verification, and my check stubs were sent to them. I sent them the email one of their employees sent me on Wednesday saying, "Thank you, I have received them." They magically found them shortly after. Friday afternoon: Went back and forth between two employees on the phone for a while, trying to get some kind of help and information, all to no avail. Let me tell you...these people are THEE rudest when they don't have answers! If you prove them wrong, or show that you doubt their process, they are the most defensive jerks you will ever talk to! They couldn't handle that I raised valid points, had proven they had screwed up and lost documentation, and asked logical questions that they couldn't find an answer which any entry level employee for one of these firms should know. During the same call, one of them said my rate COULD be around 3.5 percent, while the other one said it COULD be 4.75 percent. I said, "so you mean to tell me that all you have so far is that my rate might be 3.75 or it could be 4.75% and that I'd rather rent for the rest of my life than pay that much higher of a rate knowing what else is available." In the snobbiest tone you could imagine, person 1 laughed and said "are you kidding me? you would rather rent than buy just because of a 1% difference in a VA loan? That's dumb!" To which I replied, "the fact that you just asked me that question is dumb, do you realize that equals out to over $100 a month in interest for 30 years?" Friday Afternoon: Talked to Stephanie, who apparently had to step in to keep her circus tent standing, ensured she understood my frustration, said she was also frustrated that things were dealt with so terribly all week, filled me in with more information, and ended with "I PROMISE I WILL HAVE AN ANSWER ON MONDAY." Monday: Had a missed call at noon. I hear that a $230k loan is going to cost up to $2k a month after insurance, taxes, etc. which has more bulls**t than a Texas slaughterhouse. Called back shortly after to hear, "Stephanie is on the phone, can she call you back in a few minutes?" "Sure." Ten minutes later I received a call from the person who was previously the rude, inconsiderate, and ignorant, I spoke with on Friday afternoon. She said, "Ummm....Stephanie isn't available, she is tiieedd Uppp...ummm...well anyway.... it is what it is." "What do you mean it is what it is? You mean that a 230k loan is going to cost 2k a month?" (For those of you that are reading thus far, this would equate to about a 9% interest rate) She continues in the rudest and ditziest voice possible, "Uuhh yeahhhh, its raaan as the worrrst caaase scenARRio." "I say, "You're job is to find me the best case scenario and find me a God damned mortgage!" She then has the nerve to say that she won't be talked to like that.

My husband and I were two very nervous first-time home-buyers but we were won over by the excellent handling of our loan by Summit Funding. Stephanie is very hands-on and all the girls make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in! Stephanie impressed upon us multiple times that her office was there to work for us and make us comfortable with the loan process and they more than delivered! Often she would answer our questions before we even asked them; we really enjoyed the weekly calls to update us. The office always kept us informed of the next steps in the process and anything we were required to do; we closed on time and are thrilled to recommend Stephanie and Summit Funding!

Great experience working with Debra, Alex and the rest of the team at Summit. Everyone was kind, helpful and always available. They stayed on top of everything and kept me moving along to purchase my first home.
