PLS Check Cashing in Merrillville, IN

well, the place was very nice, clean, and looked new. The agents were nice. I was there on a Monday evening, about 4:20 when I walked in. Long line of people, and they moved along quietly. There were about 4 agents working when I came in. More started working, as I got closer. Mateena waited on me. She was obviously a trainer/manager. She would work a little on what I needed done, count money. Tell me to fill out a form, count out stamps for someone else. Counted more money. Gave training tips to a girl. Answered phones. Came back to me. Talked to a trainee. It took her, seriously, 12 minutes to get an electric bill paid (hubby had thrown away payment coupon, so I went there instead.) NEVER AGAIN. If you are going to wait on a customer, THEN WAIT ON THE CUSTOMER. If you need to manage, then manage, and DON'T wait on a customer!! I will NOT go back there. Help yourself. I would rather wait on the electric company to send me a new bill, and go to the bank, where they treat you as a valued customer. I had people in back of me, that were waited on and got out of there 5 or more minutes before I did!!

Had an interview with manger name Rodney through a friend, well i was suppose to be there any time after 9:00 am which i showed up at 9:15, i spotted Rodney then he disappeared, so i next at window told the lady at window i had an interview with Rodney and she said he gone i dont know when he will be back what time was your interview i told her and she responsed he must have for got about you and i said that was so very unprofessional and after i talked to him he said i couldnt hire me because i sid he was unprofessional '' WELL RODNEY YOU WERE"!

Friendly staff, just takes awhile to get things done

Came there to cash in my gift card with a balance of $700 dollars and the teller lady was rude and she told me my card didnt work and her computer was down which was both a lie so i went across the street and cashed my gift card in and nothing was wrong with my card everything worked and i received payment i truly believe that i was racial profiled and its such a shame
