I needed a notary for some work paperwork and this bank was very close to my apartment. I was only in Carmel, IN temporarily. My permanent home was in Fort Wayne, IN which is where my bank is. There were no Carmel locations for my current bank which is why I tried Horizon. When I walked in there were two employees there. I asked them if they provided this service and they responded that they only do it for current customers who have an active bank account with them. I said I did not have an account with them but I would be willing to pay for a notary since I was not a member. They both laughed at me and repeated their statement about only helping current members. They then proceeded to turn their backs to me and talk to each other privately. I understand if they could not do it but there was no need to laugh at my request and act so rude. I decided then and there that they would never have an account opened with them.
