Allegius Credit Union in Burns Harbor, IN

This branch does NOT have an atm. The clerk told me there's an atm in the mill (Mittal). Wasted my time driving over there, to get turned away because I'm not an mill employee. For non mill ppl looking for an atm there's one in Portage on Willowcreek & one in Chesterton on 49.

Quite possibly the WORST bank I've ever been to. The staff is extremely rude, they don't even greet you at the drive thru, or counter, and it shows on their faces they do not want to help you AT ALL. They have no idea what their bank policies are, let alone what kind of checks they can and cannot cash. Being a credit union and specifically being a "steelworker" credit union, they treat their customers with so much disrespect, it makes me sick to go there. I cannot wait until our last check clears, because of course they put a 7 day hold on it, we pay our loan out in full, and CLOSE our account.
