Horrible. Went up to sell some things and they told me they weren't even buying anything today! What kind of pawn shop doesn't buy anything on certain days? The place is a joke.

Totally disgusted. After 15 years of not ever needing to use a pawn shop, I call this one to ask about pawning my pistol; a Taurus PT 99 AF. This is as new looking as you can find, not one single scratch, only 300 rounds max fired through it if that at all. Been offered $400 for this multiple times. Is high capacity 17 rounds, adjustable sights, checkered grips, it's the nice one. This guy says I don't know who you talked to that told you we would pawn them and had you drive all the way up here because state law only allows us to buy them. I leave call them ask for a ballpark of what he'd offer me, says he didn't look good enough turn around and come back. Never mind the female on the phone told me as long as I went to drivers license bureau and got my ID renewed they'd pawn my gun.... I go back this "person" looks at it, says these are selling for $200 see right here he's got some supposed wen site up and he knows I can't see itr over the co7unter I am only 4'9" it's pretty obvious. He won't let me come and see the site, just insists he can only go $150 and acts like I am crazy explaining I have been offered $400 several times over the years, once even by a gun shop ( which I will be revisiting in the morning)... just to have him refuse to look me in the eye and try to say that B.S. to me again. I almost wish my husband had been with me, but yet I am relieved. he knows too much about this subject. Just checked the web again I was able to find one for under $300 and that was an auction, not same model no checkered grips no adjustable sights, etc, and scratched to hell. The rest dozens , were all $400 and up same as last time I checked guy, this place lies when it is convenient, and think they can take advantage because of your gender or who knows what else?? I;d love to see him try to tell my husband that crock of sh*t lies. he wouldn't even look me in the eye to tell his B.S. just sat on his stool lying and getting away with it. Funny my husband can take can take $400 worth of tools in and walk out with $200 or $300 for just a simple loan (hes='s been in there 3 times in his life, he is nearly 60 years old now e don't use pawn shops as a rule, but have shopped in them and mergency about 3 times in his life)... but a $470 gun that sells for $400 and up all day long and they don't make any more and is hi capacity Berretta copy that people are still gong nuts for..... that's only worth $150 to $200 if I am stupid enough to believe it scum, when our gun dealer friends say differnt and have made offers to me personally for years. Can't wait to tell our gun shop about this scum-hole. Could get a better deal with a crack dealer!! Steer clear unless you are shopping then no clue so can't judge, just know what we know. If they weren't closed my husband would already be there right now. He hates a thief, and a liar trying to take advantage of a woman, makes it even worse. They may not all be scum there but one of them is and the gal is either an idiot or a plain liar trying to reel you into the store so they can tell you someone made a mistake and try to buy your gun for nothing as it's your last hope. Sorry Charlie, but I can afford to keep it others , just thought we could use one less for an honest deal that's all we need to know. You should too. Beware of people like this, especially if marshal law ever arrives here. Imagine what they'd do with food. $150...... POS , chauvinistic pig.
