If you are looking for a lender that will smooze you and once you become a client, decide they only care about the money then this is your lender. Eric's office was disorganized. I had to keep resending documentation to his office 4-5 times because his assistant would lose it. I had a closing date 6 weeks away and got him everything he needed in plenty of time. Then I would get calls/emails from his office stating I had to go over my lunch break and go get forms notarized and send it to them ASAP. A week till closing, we kept asking if we had all the forms necessary and wanted to know how much we'd need to bring to closing and how much our monthly payment was. We didnt know any of that information till we showed up to closing, which was 4 hours because Eric's office didn't get the paperwork to the title c ompany on time. This caused us undue financial issues because of our moving company having to wait on us to show up. Two months after we closed, they are still needing us to sign paperwork from the loan. Got a phone call from a loan officer from the office at 6:30 at night, asking us to print off some paperwork and take it to Fedex to be overnighted to her because it needed to be done. All because they are disorganized and do not know how to do their jobs. I give her the paperwork today and she asked me to backdate it to 2 weeks ago, which I told her I was not going to do because that wasnt right. Please never go to this place of business. I have reported them to their corporate office in hopes they change.

This is, by far, the worst experience I have ever had with a financial institution. The initial engagement and loan processing and funding were just fine. Once they have you as a client: 1 - It is impossible to get in touch with a person when you need to. 2 - They make continuous clerical errors and send you letters indicating an issue, when the issue is theirs. 3 - There team on the phone has absolutely no idea what they are doing or talking about. Continuous errors in processing payments/escrow accounts. I would highly recommend you find a different company.

I wish I would have read the review on Caliber before hand. Worst experience ever.

This is literally the most incompetent company second to Comcast I have ever dealt with. You receive a different answer every time you call. I have had to make several calls in regards to tax information, and all I get is the run around. I never received a response nor assistance I needed. Please if you find out your bank is selling your mortgage to them, start the process to go elsewhere.
