Great Lakes Credit Union in Oak Lawn, IL

I was with what was formally know as, bellwest credit union, now Great Lakes credit union for greater than five years. I thought the merger would bring about a better bank. But I'm sad to say it has not. They carry high rates and fees left and right. To give you an idea of my financial profile. 31 years old I carry 4 k in credit card debt with an 18k limit on that card. My credit score is near 800. I've never missed a bill even in my struggles. And I'll be debt free soon. This bank limits me to 10k at 10% Along with that I had a direct deposit for a savings that I was now going to start saving up in. But they changed their policy. In that policy they have stated they will begin to charge anyone who doesn't have a $500+ So basically they bring no benefit to me anymore to bank with them.
