Carrington Mortgage Services in Oak Brook, IL

They are the worst mortgage company ever!!!. While processing our loan, the loan processor was apparently fired and our file sat unworked for two weeks, which delayed our home closing for a month. We literally loved out of hotel until we could close. When we called these jerk offs to inquire about our loan, we were told they do not talk to customers. Well when we finally closed, we gave these idiots bogus contact information because we do not speak to idiot mortgage companies. I wish they would just sell our freaking loan already!!!! Stay clear of these guys. They are rude, crude and unethical!!! Be warned!!!!

I work as an accountant and occasionally have to handle escrow. Normally this process takes a week and a half to two weeks, depending on the mail. It's been over a month and a half with Carrington now. The longest any other mortgage company has ever taken is 3 weeks.
