Wells Fargo Bank in Niles, IL

I have been a long-time Wells Fargo customer; I've followed the bank around from 3 different cities. That being said, I'm dedicated and loyal—nearly for the customer service alone. Living downtown I make the commute to the 'burbs to do my banking at this location, and before Twana Richmond (Store Manager-offer) arrived, I nearly left because the tellers were so rude and inconsistent. But Twana has been awesome every time I come in, helpful and patient, and takes the time to talk to you clearly about your money. She has really turned this branch around. I'm sticking around after all.

I can't speak to their internal banking system practices like check clearing delays, but the customer service here is decent. The tellers are courteous and the transactions accurate. The last time I was in I had a question that one of the (?) officers needed to answer. She couldn't do so and tried to talk her way around it at the same time trying to sell me on opening accounts for which she did not have the details. I figure this is a corporate mandate to use any customer contact as a sales opportunity. I just say,No thanks. But the retail banking services are okay.

As usual worst service and unprofessional people!!! I would give them even below zero!

Bad customer service. Walked in to make a payment my bank had mismanaged and was actually thinking of inquiring about switching to Wells Fargo, but after how I was treated...no thank you.

I started with Wells Fargo in Jan 2012 in North Carolina, no matter the branch or State, I've always experienced excellent customer service. I've enjoyed getting to know my teller and watching them promoted to bankers. Wells Fargo has consistently provided customer service that goes above and beyond my expectations.
