Cash Store in Moline, IL

We will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and contacting the owner of this business to file a harassment claim against "Jen" at this cash store {aka "Cottonwood Financial"} Our daughter took out a loan at this establishment. They call her list of contacts including her employer the "day before" her payment is even due. "Jen" obviously has never received any type of Customer Service Training and definitely was never taught simple/basic "phone manners". None of the contacts should be called unless a client misses a payment and if/when they do need to call, they definitely should not be so incredibly rude to the contacts that they do call. I have worked in the customer service field for more than 20 years and I have never in my life had anyone be so completely disrespectful to me when calling me from a local business. We own a local business and a nonprofit organization. If I ever found out anyone of my employees was treating the public this way, they would no longer be employed by us. Apparently "Jen" has never heard the phrase, "You will catch more flies with honey than with vinegar." Unbelievable. I personally do not believe in these types of "cash loan stores" in the first place. I definitely do not recommend this company to anyone.

I was an employee of Cottonwood Financial LLC. aka as "The Cash Store". When you go into training it sounds like a great place to work. The people I worked with were great. Training is for one week and then after that you are set free in , The Cash Store. You learn more by just working there then you do in training. They change their company policies everyday of how to do things such as customer files, phone calls, loan documents. While after working there for a few months, I came in early one day and was fired for no reason, did not give explanation and read some stupid script as to what I am supposed to do what a bunch of crap. They told me to call HR so I did and HR gave me two codes and no further explanation as to why. This company is joke and I would not recommend doing business or working for them They need people who are better equipped as managers, they need to be able to give explanations for why they do things the way they do and make sure that all employees are trained the same. Do Not do Business and Do NOT WORK HERE
