Auto Credit of Southern Illinois in Marion, IL

I've had to purchase a couple vehicles from them now. ..... I recently went in to purchase another one for daughter that she would be making payments for. My daughter was not able to get a loan due to her age. ..... but I could get anothet loan, the problem is that this would not help build my daughter's credit and would virtually waste my money. They could have sold me a vehicle that day ..... but the manager sat and talked with me and my daughter about how this purchase would do nothing to help her and explained how waiting another 6 months would help her make her money work for her. My point is that they could have made money off me that day, but cared enough to talk my daughter into waiting and for this reason I will be back to buy from them again. I know the buy here pay here places get a lot of criticism because of high interest rates on higher mileage cars, but for those of us who have poor credit they can be a real life saver. .... and I really appreciated their honesty with me the last time I'd stopped in to make a purchase. KUDOS to that service manager there.

Horrible customer service! Had to put a star but they deserve a negative star! I purchased my car from them in March, I have never missed a payment, I called to explain to them that my card was stolen and I could not make the complete payment until I received a new card in the mail. I told them that I would make a partial payment. Tina yelled at me multiple times and told me there was nothing I could do, and if I don't pay by Wednesday(today is Monday) they would repo my car! I called back to speak with Donna(manager) she was very rude and arrogant. She told me I've only been with the company for a couple months so I am not considered a loyal customer, and there is nothing she could do, when I know personally multiple people who have had an opportunity to make up a payment. she continued to try and back track her statements. DO NOT GO THROUGH THESE PEOPLE!!! It might seem like the best option at the moment but it will be a huge regret in the end. I really hope enough people get tired of their money hungry ways and they get shut down!!

Worst place ever to buy a car there cars may look in good shape but after u get them they turn into the worst mistake ever

Buying a car from this place has to rank right in the top 5 worst mistakes of my life! And that's saying a lot! The cars are way overpriced!

Describe my experience wow VERY VERY VERY VERY POOR DO NOT BUY FROM these money hungry people I found the same van I got from them for 2500 cash and they charged me 13000.. there are local owned people that won't screw you with high payments for yrs... they screw u at auto credit badly people don't buy from them take the time and find a car dealer that cares bc these people r money hungry people that would do anything for a paycheck
