Fifth Third Bank & ATM in Geneva, IL

Fifth Third bank has an antiquated online payment system, very few ATM in airports or other places if you travel, no "apps" for online banking via phone, etc. One would think they would make up for this in above average customer service, well you (and I) would be wrong. This branch socked us with a $300 OD fee, when WE HAD overdraft protection, due to a technicality. We moved over $50,000 dollars through the account that month, and overdrew by $21. Our mistake I realize, and without going into the detail they did ZERO to help us out. The local managers have zero power, and it took almost TWO WEEKS to even get denied any reimbursement. Calls went un-returned, emails unanswered. If it wasn't for our constant pestering, I am sure we would of not received any response at all. The ironic thing is this happened 6 weeks after we refinanced with them and in which their auto pay system debited our OLD AND NEW mortgage in the same month. Their mistake, and we received nothing. I would put my money under a mattress before I would put my money with 53rd again.
