Review Wells Fargo Bank

Nancy Saucedo | 2016-07-07 03:39:42
Has policies in place that are inefficient and therefore inconvenient for my standards. Will no longer be banking with Wells Fargo even though I had various types of accounts for 6 years.

Great and helpful staff. Location is very good. Mostly full of customers.

Review from November 14th (due to me naming the incompetent staff at this location they removed my review and I must repost it.) Avoid like the plague! The branch manager "M. G." at this location is the most incompetent person I have ever seen work in a bank. Today during a routine deposit my girlfriend was treated poorly and was talked to in a completely disrespectful manner by this elderly woman, also incompetent, working the drive through window. During their heated altercation, which escalated because this employee continued to disrespect us, my girlfriend decided to close her account. At this point, M. G. stepped in, and we were asked to come inside to discuss the matter privately. When we entered the bank instead of speaking to us, M.G. decided it was his turn to disrespect us. He refused to speak with us and told us to wait until he was finished with something else despite requesting our presence at that time to discuss the issue. He then threatened to call the police on us if we didn't leave right then. We said we were not going to go anywhere until my girlfriend was able to close her account. He then called the police and falsified the situation to them over the phone stating we were belligerent and yelling at him when in fact we were talking to him and expressing our frustrations as he did absolutely nothing to help the situation. He was mocking us and trying to intimidate us as he scoffed and smirked while describing us over the phone during which he also kept referring to us as "white people" instead of by our names, which made us feel as though we weren't being treated properly in a professional manner. When the police showed up we talked with them, and they helped us close her account, thankfully they showed up because no one in their right mind would trust the people at this branch to operate in a professional manner. I had a pleasant conversation with the police as we waited for them to close her account and they completely understood the situation to be caused by this elderly teller. During the lengthy process of the bank closing the account, the police noticed the elderly woman bank teller taunting my girlfriend and stopped her. They also noticed another teller scoffing at my girlfriend during the process of closing her account and put an end to that as well. The officers commented several times about how long the bank was taking to close the account. "What are they doing, counting out millions to give to her?" In the end, we were found to have done nothing wrong, and we got what we wanted which was to close her account. Not sure why when the police left the employees of this branch went back to having smug expressions on their faces. So to reiterate the moron branch manager M.G. is quite an incompetent manager that escalated an already tense situation by furthering the poor treatment of a customer conducted by a completely disrespectful elderly woman teller. I wish you luck if you bank here. We have filed complaints with corporate, and we are awaiting a response from the Wells Fargo district manager A. S. *UPDATE: We never received a response. It's no wonder they are the worst bank in the USA! Everyone who works for this company must be complete social rejects.

How many time can you be hung up? Well for far 3 times to 2 days!! If they can't answer your question I guess it's best if they put you on hold for 20 minutes and then just hang up and waste your time !! And don't ask to speak to a manager because evidently they could care less who you are and what problems you're having and they will do anything to avoid talking to you !! Staff is so unprofessional, if you don't like your job find a new one !!! I've paid off 2 home mortgages through Wells Fargo and absolutely under no circumstances will take another loan out there or open any kind of account there! Being a loyal customer means nothing! They can't help with a question about a checking account how in the world could they manage your home loan ?? Pathetic customer service!!

I have been banking with these guys for 15 years. They have always been so helpful, fixed every little issue. But recently I had two very large, unauthorized charges made, I was melting down not knowing how I was going to pay my rent and childrens daycare. They temporarily credited my account in 24 hours while figuring out the charges. I can not begin to describe my gratitude for being so prompt and helpful. I don't know what I'd have done without these guys!
