Argon Credit in Chicago, IL

"BE WARNED" this is an exteremely shady loan office. After loan was paid off in good standing, a balance was transferred to another branch in which can be of no assistance. Never signed or agreed upon the transfer and the original account is now in collections. Customer care "Mercedes" is very unprofessional and will not let you talk to anyone above her. I have submitted to transunion for review and already contacted the BBB in which they have a .4 rating out of 5. Meaning 4 tenths of 1. Yikes SCAM alert!!!!

After paying off this incredibly high loan, they decided to take an "extra" payment. I have been fighting with the most unprofessional and unhelpful customer service reps who refuse to allow you to talk to any supervisors. Needless to say, it's been 3 weeks and still no refund. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

Horrible horrible dont use them!!! They claim they used to use a third party to handle their loans now everything is in house. Since they got reed of the third party they wont take my loan out on time I'm getting hit with more interest and you cant get anyone on the phone to take care of this!! They get zero stars. Don't use them!!!

Do not used them paid them off took out extra payment and they say I owed them more money. I refused to pay them. They do not know what they are doing. I keep calling never can get though it is always busy.

I have had the exact same experience every other review has described. Completely predatory lending. Horribly unorganized. Website is ALWAYS down. I've just started to immediately report every issue I have to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (consumerfinance.gov) and suggest everyone does the same.
