OneMain Financial in Champaign, IL

Please at all cost avoid using this finance company!!! They have the most unprofessional staff I have ever seen in my life, they are rude and absolutely unwilling to work with you if you run into any kind of problems. I actually had one of the employees tell me that they didn't care if we used there company in the future they just want there money back! The management; if that is what you want to call it is just as bad! The so called manager actually said "Are you going to shut up so I can talk" I have never been treated so horribly before in my life!! These people are a joke.

I agree with the comment below. This is the worst, most unprofessional staff in a financial institution that I've seen. After I told this branch that I would be paying off the remaining balance, I got harassed with phonecalls about paying off the balance and I hadn't even given them a specific date of when I would pay it off, not to mention was I obligated to pay the full amount...so I ask...why was I getting harassing calls about it??? One employee in particular, Lisa, actually left me a message in my voicemail that said "Hi, just wondering when we are going to get our money back. Last time I called, I believe you picked up and hung up on me." How completely unprofossional. Oh, and I believe at one point when I called to confront her about it, she said "yes, you said you WAS going to pay it off that day". Nice grammar. Go figure, when that type of intelligence is portrayed by the staff, you can only assume what a bogus establishment it is. I also agree with the comment below about them being completely unwilling to work with their customers on payments. All I simply wanted to do was change my paydate to a different part of the month, and they were unwilling to do so. This financial institution is a JOKE and they charge an arm and a leg, preying on people who are in a bad way for money. Do NOT fall into their trap!
