Idaho Central Credit Union: Chubbuck Branch in Chubbuck, ID

To whom it may concern, I was very disappointed when I visited the Chubbuck branch of ICCU with questions about home loan preapproval. I told the branch manager what my credit score was and what was reflected on my credit report and even offered to show her a copy of my credit report. She insisted that pulling my credit was the only way to answer my questions. Once she pulled my credit, I was informed that my credit was not yet high enough. This answer could have been given to me without having another hit on my credit since it didn't really need to be pulled. I now have an unnecessary hit on my credit from having it pulled which could be detrimental to getting a loan in the future. I feel like my time was wasted and my questions and concerns were not listened to.

Went in to make a mortgage payment, and I let the person know I was out of checks, they hadn't come in yet, and asked what I could do. He informed me I could use my credit card. What he didn't tell me is that he ran it as a cash advance and my credit card company charged me $70 in fees to do that. I could have just ran to my bank and gotten a check through them! Now I'm out $70 and "there's nothing they can do about it. " grrrr.

I can't see why this bank has such a low star rating. If you're banking anywhere else you are banking at the wrong place. I've had nothing but a positive experience banking with these guys.

Very pleased with the Chubbuck branch of ICCU. I lost a wallet recently and they were extremely helpful in getting my cards canceled and replaced, while also giving helpful advice on what to do to avoid any stolen identity issues.
