They want to charge $5 to start an account. This is stealing from the customers, especially as a "credit union". They should call themselves a bank instead with this kind of fraudulent behavior. The other credit unions don't charge any fee to start an account and are more cooperative with the coop network as well, such as Mountain America Credit Union.

ICCU is a wonderful Idaho based credit union. They have great financial tools and super friendly staff once you become a customer of theirs you'll wonder why you ever dealt with a big bank.
