Icon Credit Union in Boise, ID

I have perfect credit with the exception of a foreclouser. Icon took that into account and gave me a great credit APR for a truck. Months earlier I bought a trailer so I refinanced it with Icon and the APR is 10 points lower, savings of $8000 in interest.

Icon (formerly Idahy) has been my credit union for over 20 years. They recently merged and changed the entire system in 2014. Customer service is now frighteningly terrible, slow, rude, and uncoordinated. Employees are struggling to keep up with the changes. Many old useful features are now gone from the new system, giving it limited functionality for anyone with more than just a checking account. The new website is complex, dysfunctional, and difficult to navigate. The mobile banking app is so buggy it's virtually useless. Everything about the change is BAD NEWS. If you want to just stash money away in a savings, it'll work fine. But as a business owner with many accounts to juggle, Icon's versatility and user-friendliness is completely gone, leaving me no choice but to switch CU's. I certainly won't be looking back.

No accessible ATM at this site....

Have been with Icon for about 5 years now, always awesome friendly service, and their online banking app has gotten much better with recent updates. Great credit union!
