Last two trips I've been here have been pretty horrible. I thought once was a fluke, apparently not. Waited 10 minutes to deposit a simple check that I deposit every month, and the tube system wouldn't work, and the teller seemed pretty clueless. Have had no problems with the other branches though. Pretty sad...

Horrible experience. After bringing in a check that one of my clients had accidentally filled out to my business name rather than as a personal check I was told that this was not allowed and that the bank would not deposit my check for me unless I got it reissued with my name on it. I understand the tellers doing their jobs and enforcing policy but when I offered to prove that I was my business by any means (the manager looking it up, my business cards, calling the phone number, looking up a previous check that they had deposited with the same business name on it) the manager Bill promptly called me a liar and accused me of having created a fake website and business persona just so I could deposit a $60.00 check. None of the employees or the manager offered me any immediate solution to my problem other than for me to leave and get the check changed. This also happened in the lobby so not only was I called a liar by the manager it was done out in the open so I could be embarrassed about it as well. I understand that I may have been in the wrong initially by having a check with my business name on it instead of my personal name but I had previously deposited a check with my business name on it into my personal account so I know it is possible to do so, the manager and employees just decided to enforce the policy over provide a quality customer experience. Now I have to go tell my client that my bank refused to deposit their check and needs a new one written out. How's that for forced negative publicity.

My wife and I were looking to consolidate our credit debt to an anything loan offered by CCCU. We applied online and received a some what timely response. The person i was working with happened to be the branch manager. After some review and discussion he continues to tell me there was no way they would lend me the amount i was asking for (appox. $9k) He advised that they would be willing to give us a loan for a small amount to start with and as our relationship grew, they could offer us more. That seemed reasonable to me. When i advised him i wanted to move forward with the loan he then decided to tell me he wanted more info regarding my wife's student loans. I quickly provided the information via email within 2 minutes of our conversation. I never heard a response back from him after that. I have had calls ignored and even worse, when emailing, the manager ignores my emails. I think it is a shame that anyone can just ignore a potential customer and refuse to respond to calls and emails. It is bad business and very cowardly. Needless to say, i took my business to another bank who was more than happy to give me the loan i asked for without all the hoops to jump through and was also decent enough to extend praise to my wife and I's good payment history on all of our accounts. Don't bother with this bank unless you want to deal with bankers and managers that don't even have the decency to give honest answers or someone the time of day. All it would have taken was a simple "I'm sorry but we are unable to approve you for the loan". Not the games they seem to want to play. Sad
