Horrible bank...they used to be good had an acct since i was little. However something changed, maybe management. They now charge tons of fees, they will charge you a monthly fee just for having a checking acct, they will also charge you to use your own debit card, that's right charge you for using your own money. You get like 10 fee uses of your debit and then they charge you like .75-1.00. However you can use credit at stores and you don't get charged a fee, BUT it takes DAYS for it to clear, and I mean days. So if you are like a lot of americans that sometimes get down to your last $50, be careful, because you won't realize how close you become to going over. And then if you go over you get charged $20 per transaction that goes over. My biggest problem is just the way it is ran, it sucks, security doesn't feel like it exists at all. Most banks i've banked at ask for you ID, and confirm your info when you take out cash. I totally don't mind doing that if that means someone isn't going to steal my info or money. Also went to log in on my online acct, just logged in perfectly day before, and then today the first attempt could not get in. tried again didn't work, called the bank they told me i was locked out and had to come in and sign something. Everything you do with that bank you have to come in and sign something. So it definitely lacks convenience also. And when you call for help, they just give you the short answers, nothing to better the situation and solve the problem easier, which I would consider poor customer service. So to sum it up, go find another credit union, there are so many others, do not settle for this one. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR HAVING AN ACCT OR PAY TO USE THE CASH YOU HAVE IN IT. There are other banks that don't charge that.
