Just before I came here I sold my T.V at another place and walked out feeling like I got cheated on. I brought my surf board and games here to South Maui Gold and Loan and ended up getting more than for my T.V?? Customer service here is great wouldn't go to any other place!

Needed some extra cash to get me by and took a diamond ring for a loan and offered me more for out right purchase.And also bought a skim board for my son with the extra that I got,treated me very well and excellent customer service I would recommend them to anyone.

Seemed like genuine guys there. A little pricey with products that are fairly close to retail value but that's pawn shops and you could haggle. Just got a guitar from the guys for Christmas it was in decent condition but one of the pegs were broken but the salesman gave me a new one albeit not the same and a little dinged up but it definitely will work. They seem pretty honest and willing to help on the buying end. I was hesitant on trying other instruments out. They're behind the counter and it just seems like a no no which any respectful musician will stay away from trying them out. But I was allower to try out anything. I didn't see anything that refers a 5 star rating just from sticker prices being a little on the high side(hey its a pawn shop in hawaii) but they were definitely willing to help you and I will definitely be returning to the business!
