Associated Credit Union in Norcross, GA

Friendly staff. Opens at 9 on Wednesdays though. Not 8. Inconvenient for me today.

In May 2015, I bought a 2014 Mustang from Shottenkirk Ford in Jasper Ga. After all the paperwork was done ( read " extended warranty " the price was $28,000.00. I am retired after 35 yrs. with a local company and we have a great credit union, which I wanted to use. However, the salesman insisted we use Associated credit union for a better rate.I finally agreed. Several months later my local bank offered to refinance the car and I said ok. They called back and said the car was only worth 19,300.00. I called Associated as to why they would loan 28,000.00 on a car only worth 19,000.00. They had no good answer and said the person who handled it was no longer there. I went to the Ford dealer and they said the salesman was no longer there. They asked to see my paperwork,which I gave them. they gave me no satisfaction at all, I asked for my paperwork and was told they could not find it and maybe it got thrown away. I went back a few months later to trade the 2014 in for a new car in hopes of recovering some of my loss. They only gave me $16,000. trade in and added 12,000.00 to the price of the new car to cover the cost of the payoff to Associated. So, I paid 28,000.00 for a 19,000.00 car and 41,000.00 for a 29,000.00 car. Anything wrong with this picture???? I feel that the Ford salesman had a deal with Associated to take advantage of an older person. I am 71 yrs old and have bought Fords for 50 yrs. I'll never buy another one and I intend to let Ford Motor Co. know why. BEWARE, BEWARE!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DEAL WITH THESE COMPANIES. I am writing this review for Michael Satterfield because he has no computer.

Great service, always making everything easy for me and my accounts. Most of my accounts are with them. I have never had a problem with anything.

Love my Credit Union! They are the best out there and their customer service is amazing!
