New management is terrible. I have been a customer here since 2010. I will not shop here anymore until Scott is fired! Terrible customer service.

BEWARE THIS PREDATORY LENDER! Needing cash to bridge the gap my insurance deductible presents at the beginning of the year (Janurary 2016) I came in with some scrap 14 karat gold pieces to sell. I'm no expert on gold and gold prices and especially not weight, so like the few other times I've had to do this, I expected the broker to test the grade of the gold and then weigh it before offering his/her price. Before any of this I'm asked how much I want. I said, "I don't know how much it's worth, lets weigh the gold and see what it comes out to." I then tell him I looked up the price of 14k this morning and just want a fair deal based on the weight of the scrap gold I had brought with me. He laughs, and says incredulously, "Oh, so you looked it up and think you managed to find the right price?" I say nothing at first, then I ask him if we can weigh and test it (to ensure it is in fact all 14k because I'm personally unsure as I don't have a testing kit). I'm still just trying to keep this professional. Rather than weigh the gold or make an offer, he says, "I don't deal with liars and you want too much for this gold." I say, "I haven't made an offer and neither have you, why are you being rude?" To that he says nothing. He seemed taken aback. I ask one last time if he will weigh the gold before we negotiate. He says no, and he isn't interested. I should have simply left then but I didn't. I really needed to come up with something for my rheumatoid arthritis medication. So I show him my Gibson Thunderbird bass guitar and offer it for half it's worth. Again, giving him a 100% profit margin to work with. He says it's undesirable and will never sell, then offer's $5 for it. An insulting and ridiculous offer for a very nice instrument. It's currently one of the best selling bass guitars at Guitar Center (as I know from not only looking it up that morning but also from twelve years of playing music). That was the last straw, I told him where to shove it and left. This pawn shop is going to rip you off. The guy I was speaking with was the owner (I know because I asked after being treated so poorly). Do not bring business here as they need to change their predatory habits. It's one of the places that give the pawn industry a bad name. For comparison, I went to Value Pawn & Jewelry, just up the road after leaving the **** hole that is I-Pawn. Warily, I asked what the value of gold per gram was before hand this time, the broker told me it was $19. No low balling or scoffing. Was treated fairly and was offered more than half of my scrap gold's worth after the broker weighed and tested it right in front of me, showing without my asking the results of both tests. It was more than I needed to fill my script and beat the deductible so I was able to save part of the scrap and keep my bass guitar (thank god because I utterly love my Thunderbird!) Take your business to Value Pawn & Jewelry or any other pawn broker than this one. I-Pawn is a predatory business with no morality in an industry that deals with people who are down on their luck and in need of help. Seller beware.

I went in to this store to buy a single action pistol. The guy at the counter was great we did our back and forth on price but when the owner of the store stepped in, he started being very rude and disrespectful. I had every intention and was going to buy that gun and they lost me by this guy getting involved, with the way he treated me. i brought a guy with me to look at guns and show him this place and was treated like a piece of crap. I will never go here again. They have lost my business forever.
