Legacy State Bank in Loganville, GA

We have been using this bank since it opened and have never had an issue. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Impressively, they always remember who we are when we enter the bank, and address us by name, even if it's been a long time.

Like the previous reviewer said below me, banking with local banks are absolutely the way to go! I love legacy state bank because honestly they are always available to help whenever you need it. I've gotten money orders fees (thanks UPS) and atm fees waived because since they are so small, you can virtually withdraw money from anywhere in the world. Plus you get free checks from them as well, which is really lovely.

We love banking here. They know you by name, not by number - you are a real person. They may not have more than one location, but they do not charge for normal amount of ATM transactions that you may have to use in other places. So, to me, I do not miss any conveniences that the larger chain banks advertise. The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable, and we have never had any issues. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Banking local is the way to go. As others have mentioned, you are a real person with an actual name. At Legacy State Bank, everyone knows my name, knows my wife and my children. I have banked at Legacy for the past 12 years and developed friendships along the way. Shannon Atha is their loan officer. She has helped our family with a refinance to a 15 year mortgage and with the purchase of our new home. She is very honest and upfront. She took the time to explain everything and our options. It's the only time I've ever had a representative from a bank come to a closing. Thank God she did because her numbers were different that those of the real estate closing attorney and it turns out, Shannon's math was correct, saving me some money. If you are taking the time to read the reviews, you are at least considering the idea of Banking at Legacy State Bank. I would encourage you to stop in and talk to Holly, Pam or Shannon.
