Places like this are the reason why pawn shops get such a bad rap.

Do not pawn your guns here. It is Ga law that as long as you are paid up on your pawn you do not have to show a gun licence redeem your item. I went to pay on two guns that I had pawned. The forfeit date was Mon 2-13-17. I tried to pay on my gun on Sat 2-11-17. The owner of the shop said that I had missed it by two days. When I tried to explain to him that he was incorrect, he asked for the ticket. I had misplaced my ticket and did not know where it was. So he stuck to his story that we had missed the forfeit date by two days. He told us to come back Monday. I found the ticket and sure enough the forfeit date was on Mon 2-13-17, the day he told us to come back. So now that he had set us up to come back on the forfeit date. He wanted to sale my guns back to me. He stated that the guns were not at the store and that I had to wait three days if I wanted to buy them back. He then asked for a gun licence wich he knew I did not have. Because now the tables have turned. In order for him to sale any gun, the person has to have a licence. I told him that I would call the police, he agreed. So I called and waited for the cops. When they arrived they said that they could not get involved that it was a civil matter. The officer then told me that he was just at the same store for the same situation with another person. The officer said that they know he is dishonest but its a civil matter and they cant get involved, this is why he does it. So this guy will rip you off if you pawn any weapons at this store. You will not get your weapons back.
