Nice looking houses and they use good building material... Problem is that they have poor finishing skills. Starting from the very beginning when they use the latest "soft curb" to line their streets. Seriously, who enjoys going over a speed bump everyday pulling into driveway? The architect who designs an awesome floor plan then puts the master door entry and attic access in the corner of a hallway. Don't try to move oversized furniture into your new spacious master bedroom! On closing day it was a mad scramble to figure out why two pieces of wall trim didn't line up and front door was painted outside during a dust storm. Two months moved in, still finding blue tape on walls and trim pieces not painted or prepped before paint. Also still haven't received any mail due to a miscommunication between local postmaster and builder. Mailbox out front looks good though. Same reason it took our group of houses a month or more to get internet. Someone forgot to let the local cable/internet companies know these houses were going up. I could go on but these were/are some of the bigger issues and reason for only 3 stars. To sum it up "if we built perfect houses we couldn't keep them at $88 sq ft" is not something you want to hear from your builder's rep right before going to close... Would not recommend purchasing a new house from them. At least none in the Forrestbrook area...
